Never Face Cold Alone

Ololar designs heated glove solutions for people with Raynaud’s and cold-sensitive hands, combining warmth, flexibility, and everyday comfort.

Born From A Real Challenge Close To Our Designers

Ololar was not created from a routine product upgrade. It began with a real and unexpected moment we experienced as designers.

For designers, our hands are essential. The ability to create, focus, and perform depends on having flexible and responsive hands. That changed when one of our team members suddenly experienced something unusual — his fingers became stiff, pale, and cold without warning. The discomfort was so unexpected that it affected his ability to work normally and left us searching for answers.

As we looked deeper into what was happening, we discovered Raynaud’s phenomenon and the challenges faced by people with cold-sensitive hands. We realized that this unusual response to cold — including numbness, stiffness, and fingers turning pale — was not simply a matter of being more sensitive to cold. It was a real physical challenge experienced by many people, yet rarely understood by the wider public.

Discovering A Community That Had Been Overlooked

Through further research and conversations, we discovered that this was never an isolated experience.

Around the world, many people live with cold-sensitive hands and Raynaud’s phenomenon. Situations that feel only slightly cool or completely comfortable to others — such as normal indoor temperatures, air-conditioned environments, seasonal changes, or everyday exposure to cold — can cause their hands to become extremely cold, stiff, and slow to recover.

For these individuals, cold is not simply a difference in comfort perception. It can become a daily physical burden that affects their work, activities, and quality of life. Yet this group has long remained overlooked, with few solutions designed specifically around their needs.

From Early Testing To Purpose-Built Technology

Our early work quickly moved beyond simply understanding the problem. We began testing how active warmth could be delivered to cold-sensitive hands in real-world use.

Ololar’s product development dates back to 2017, when its heated gloves were used in hospital settings as part of early testing and product development.

That early stage became an important foundation for the products that followed. Over the years, we continued testing different heating approaches, materials, glove constructions, and ways of delivering warmth while preserving the hand movement people rely on every day.

Through this continued development, we learned that simply generating more heat was not enough. The way warmth is distributed, controlled, and integrated into the glove can be just as important as the heat itself.

We therefore moved beyond conventional heating concepts and began developing a solution from the ground up. By combining hand ergonomics, real-world cold exposure scenarios, repeated testing, and performance validation, we created Targeted Thermal Distribution Technology.

Targeted Thermal Distribution Technology — designed around the real needs of cold-sensitive hands.

This technology is designed to deliver more precise heat placement, balanced warmth distribution, and stable performance — creating a heating experience better suited for cold-sensitive hands.

Ololar Was Created For A Different Kind Of Warmth

With the goal of addressing an overlooked need and creating a more suitable warming experience, Ololar was born.

Following years of development, Ololar heated gloves entered established offline retail and distribution channels around 2020, bringing the products developed through earlier testing and refinement to more people with Raynaud’s and cold-sensitive hands.

Those real-world experiences continued to shape our understanding of what cold-sensitive hands actually need — not simply more heat, but warmth that works with everyday life.

Now, we began building our own online consumer presence, creating a more direct way for people with Raynaud’s and cold-sensitive hands to learn about our technology, explore our warming solutions, and access Ololar products.

We do not create general-purpose warming products for everyone. We focus specifically on people living with cold-sensitive hands and Raynaud’s-related challenges. Through our dedicated technology approach, we aim to move beyond traditional heating methods and provide active warmth solutions that are precise, comfortable, and designed for real everyday life.

We believe that everyone who struggles with cold hands deserves a warming solution designed around their own needs.

with understanding.

Designed for people living with Raynaud’s phenomenon and cold-sensitive hands.

We create warming solutions around real human needs — because everyone deserves warmth designed for their life.

Because Your Hands Deserve Better.

Everything we build begins with one simple belief: people with Raynaud’s phenomenon and cold-sensitive hands deserve warmth designed around their real needs.

Designed For
People Like You

Most heated gloves are designed for winter. Ours begin with the everyday reality of people living with Raynaud's phenomenon and cold-sensitive hands, because that's where better solutions should start.

Precision,
Not Just Heat

Real comfort isn't created by simply making gloves hotter. It comes from delivering precise warmth where your hands need it most, helping warmth feel balanced, natural, and comfortable throughout the day.

Warm Hands.
More Freedom.

Our goal isn't simply to warm your hands. It's to help you work, create, drive, and enjoy everyday life again—so your hands become part of your life, not the problem you think about every day.
